Prayer table

The table is old, it has years worth of tears stained into its weathered surface. There are always enough chairs. Please come in and set for a moment. Offer up your prayers, or ask for us to pray with you. All are welcome here. Come in and have a seat.

    Father,
    I lift up Gail and Buford to You as she undergoes chemotherapy. Please grant her strength in abundance and see her healed from her cancer. Grant Buford the strength to continue to support her as she is treated. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

    If you can spare a moment in your day, please help me lift these folks up to the Lord.

    Father,

    Grace, peace and mercy today, Father.
    I pray for all these things in abundance.
    THank You for allowing me to struggle while not leaving my side. For pushing my growth through the trials that come. Especially the self-induced ones.
    I praise You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    in agreement today with the prayers offered here

    came by and was blessed to read from the selected above Psalm:

    “…I think of you through the watches of the night.
    7 Because you are my help,
    I sing in the shadow of your wings.
    8 My soul clings to you;
    your right hand upholds me.”

    God took hold of my mind and made me see a beautiful picture of this man David’s heart and his understanding of his (our) God . . . i see this honest warrior realizing God and singing, perhaps by himself on a knoll in the middle of the night . . . ?

    Lord, help our hearts to sing … in the shadow of Your wings … help us to “feel” what our minds know

    Please pray for my dad, Bob. He is in the hospital with possible congestive heart failure. I am also getting to see my estranged family members, so prayers for reconcilliation would be appreciated too.

      It went good. Our neighbors have asked if we intended to make them look bad. :) I’m thinking about taking a couple pictures at night and posting them.

      I hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving too?

    Psalm 93
    1 The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty;
    the LORD is robed in majesty
    and is armed with strength.
    The world is firmly established;
    it cannot be moved.
    2 Your throne was established long ago;
    you are from all eternity.
    3 The seas have lifted up, O LORD,
    the seas have lifted up their voice;
    the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
    4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
    mightier than the breakers of the sea—
    the LORD on high is mighty.

    5 Your statutes stand firm;
    holiness adorns your house
    for endless days, O LORD.

    Father,
    I pray for Jay and Ellen, may Your will be done in their marrriage.
    I pray for my family, keep us all safe and healthy.
    Thank You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

    Please pray for me, tomorrow is our recognized day of Christmas decorating.
    This will be our first Christmas in our very own house!
    Lord help me, the Christmas kook (aka Mickie :D ) is salivating as we speak….

    Psalm 63 (NIV)
    1 O God, you are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
    my soul thirsts for you,
    my body longs for you,
    in a dry and weary land
    where there is no water.

    2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
    and beheld your power and your glory.
    3 Because your love is better than life,
    my lips will glorify you.
    4 I will praise you as long as I live,
    and in your name I will lift up my hands.
    5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods;
    with singing lips my mouth will praise you.

    6 On my bed I remember you;
    I think of you through the watches of the night.
    7 Because you are my help,
    I sing in the shadow of your wings.
    8 My soul clings to you;
    your right hand upholds me.

    9 They who seek my life will be destroyed;
    they will go down to the depths of the earth.
    10 They will be given over to the sword
    and become food for jackals.

    11 But the king will rejoice in God;
    all who swear by God’s name will praise him,
    while the mouths of liars will be silenced.

    Amen.

    Father,
    Thank You for today. I praise You for all that You do in my life. Thank You for answered prayers.
    I lift up those to You that are in need,
    Those without jobs,
    Those in financial need. Provide for them, bring them what they need.
    I pray for those in pain, both physical and emotional,
    Heal their bodies,
    Warm their hearts and minds,
    Ease the darkness they may find themselves in.
    Remind them of Your overwhelming love and grace.
    In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

    Prayer Requests…

    If you have someone or something that you would like to have those that may come through here pray about, please let me know and I will add it to a comment that I will routinely bring to the top of the page.
    We have to pray for one another, it is crucial to not just the well being of the one prayed for, but to our walk ourselves as we pray. It keeps us focused on the things of God to the good of His people.

    standing in agreement with Tony Father, bless this place and those who seek You…

    Father, for Tony I ask that You grant him his desire for deeper faith…give him the faith to move mountains, to walk beside You on the water, to raise the dead…Minister to him mind, body and soul as he works his way though the book of Job. Use this time to pull him even closer to You as is always his goal…
